No-Bake Chocolate Biscuit Dessert

A simple French dessert combining crushed biscuits and melted dark chocolate for a crunchy, indulgent treat. Chill and serve immediately in under 20 minutes. Perfect for beginners and families.

Ingredients
  

  • 200g dry biscuits (e.g., Petit Beurre or graham crackers)
  • 200g dark chocolate (70% cacao)
  • 50g unsalted butter (or 2 tbsp plant-based butter)

Method
 

  1. Crush biscuits into fine crumbs using a blender or rolling pin
  2. Melt butter in a saucepan over low heat for 1 minute
  3. Add chopped dark chocolate and stir until smooth
  4. Mix chocolate-butter mixture into biscuit crumbs until fully coated
  5. Press mixture into a 20cm tart pan using the back of a spoon
  6. Chill in refrigerator for at least 1 hour
  7. Cut into 6 equal portions and serve cold

Notes

Use stale biscuits for maximum crunch
Substitute dark chocolate with milk chocolate for sweeter flavor
Tart can be made a day ahead and refrigerated
Use a non-stick pan to avoid sticking
