Ingredients
  

  • 200g all-purpose flour (toasted at 175°C/350°F for 5 minutes)
  • 115g unsalted butter (softened) or 115g coconut butter
  • 100g brown sugar
  • 50g powdered sugar
  • 2 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 2-3 tbsp milk (dairy or unsweetened plant-based)
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 85g dark chocolate chips

Method
 

  1. Toast the flour in a dry pan over medium heat until slightly golden
  2. Combine butter, brown sugar, and vanilla in a bowl
  3. Add powdered sugar and salt, mixing well
  4. Incorporate toasted flour and milk until smooth
  5. Fold in chocolate chips
  6. Chill in an airtight container for 30 minutes

Storage: Refrigerate dough and consume within 3 days
Gluten-free: Use certified gluten-free flour and dairy-free alternatives
For crisper texture: Chill 2-3 hours
Serve with vanilla ice cream or as-is
